The Journey
A Story in Five Chapters

Bhilai, India ยท Where the Roots Ran Deep
The Bedrock
Long before I ever stood at the front of a classroom, education was the ambient noise of my life. I grew up in Bhilai โ a spirited steel city built on community. In our home, teaching wasn’t just a career; it was a lineage. Though my mother moved beyond the formal classroom when I was young, she never stopped being a teacher. She taught with a quiet dedication and creativity that planted the seeds of my philosophy long before I walked into my first school.
“Education runs in our family. When I finally became a teacher, it felt less like a choice and more like coming home.”

India ยท From Profession to Calling
The First Spark
Every educator remembers the exact moment a profession becomes a mission. In my early years in India, I discovered the electric satisfaction of witnessing a student make a connection they thought was impossible. That flash of self-belief โ the moment a learner realises their own capability โ is the anchor that still drives my design, my training, and my speaking today.

Jeddah, KSA ยท Delhi Public School & Manarat International School
Bridging Worlds
ICT Teacher ยท CBSE & IGCSE Curricula
My first international chapter was a lesson in versatility. Navigating the structured CBSE framework at Delhi Public School and the rigorous IGCSE curriculum at Manarat International School, I realised that geography and syllabus are secondary. The only true constant in education is the relationship between the mentor and the learner. I learned to meet students exactly where they are โ a principle that defines my practice to this day.

Dubai, UAE ยท Raffles World Academy (Innoventures Education)
The Inquiry & Innovation Shift
Head of Technology ยท Innoventures Education Group
My tenure at Raffles World Academy was a true awakening. The International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy โ the belief that students must be active authors of their own inquiry โ aligned perfectly with my instincts. As I grew from teacher to Head of Technology, I designed STREAM programmes and led competition teams to global stages.
Yet, the most significant shift happened in 2013, during an informal workshop I ran for educators intimidated by a new Learning Management System. That afternoon, I realised the “digital gap” isn’t about software โ it is about human confidence. I began integrating AI tools into the classroom years before the modern surge, focusing on how technology can amplify the teacher’s voice.

Beyond the CV ยท The Human Element
The Resilience Behind the Resume
True expertise is forged in the quiet spaces of personal resilience. Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis has been one of my most profound teachers. It has taught me more about adaptation, pacing, and human dignity than any professional development course ever could. It has made me a more patient mentor, deeply attuned to the unseen weight that others carry. Whether I am solving the puzzle of a school’s digital strategy or coaching students for the World Scholar’s Cup, my work is rooted in the belief that every educator is a person worth understanding.
I love solving puzzles and meeting new people โ two things that shape how I work professionally. Every school is a puzzle worth solving. Every educator is a person worth understanding. And one of my greatest joys remains coaching students for the World Scholar’s Cup โ watching young people discover their own intellectual confidence is, and will always be, one of the most rewarding things I do.
